Research Areas
We specialize at applied scientific research. This means that we understand the importance of focused research that advances the project while still ensuring that the fundamental questions of the process are answered. This is done in a timely and cost effective manner.
Most of our projects relate to highly unique processes that are in the development stage. We do not focus on one particular metallurgical or chemical industry but are experts in experimental design, bench-scale laboratory work, and unit operation development. Often, the range of processes to which we have been exposed through our work can help with cross-cutting concepts that can be used in other distinct applications.
Most of our projects are with large companies as direct contracts, however, we do sometimes partner with smaller companies to jointly develop technology. This means that we work with the company to find funds for the work and bear some of the cost ourselves for future consideration in the project.
We also have internal projects which we pursue when time permits and look for interaction on these with interested parties.
