Kingston is served by Air Canada with seven flights daily (about every two hours) to and from Toronto. The flight is about one hour and can be an efficient way to get to Kingston after flying in to Toronto. The Air Canada website will have all booking information. As well, Syracuse airport is two hours from Kingston and cars can be rented from the airport, so it is also possible to fly into Syracuse and drive up to Kingston. This is usually a much more affordable way to come to Kingston from the United States.

Via Rail is an excellent way to visit Kingston and makes a one day trip easy. Kingston has good connections to and from Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal. A typically one day visit from Montreal or Toronto can be early morning departure (around 7AM) with arrival just after 9AM and a return around 2:30PM or a later departure arriving for lunch with a 5:30 departure from Kingston. Both scenarios give about 5 hours for a visit.m

Kingston is about 2.5 hours from Toronto and 3 hours from Montreal along the 401 highway. Exit highway 38, go south past Taylor-Kidd to Progress Avenue, right on Progress Avenue.
